Our Ongoing Commitment to Quality
Imballaggio, with over a century of uninterrupted activity, has always prioritized the quality of its products, starting from the meticulous selection of raw materials and suppliers, and extending to the rigorous quality control exercised in their manufacturing.
In addition to quality certifications, we have adopted in our factory the best practices required by the food industry because we understand that food safety must extend throughout the production chain, aiming to obtain packaging that preserves standardized characteristics required for safe and suitable consumption.
As a result, on April 5, 2021, we were certified in BRCGS Packaging Version 6 by WQS, making us the first factory in Latin America with such certification.
Global Standard Packaging Materials Issue 6
Developed in 2001, the Global Standard for Packaging Materials is an important reference in the food industry. It ensures consumer protection by establishing a common basis for certifying companies that supply packaging to food producers.
Recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), the standard helps companies choose and qualify their suppliers, reducing costs and raising safety levels. Additionally, the BRCGS Global Standard for Food Safety is accepted by most distributors as equivalent to other safety standards such as IFS, SQF, and FSSC 22000. By adopting this standard, your company demonstrates its commitment to the safety, quality, and legality of food, working continuously to improve its processes.
